Well you really CAN find anything on the net these days!!!

Hi all, I'm Azrakesh from up in Vancouver, Canada, and I've beeen thinking for a while about how fun it would be to have a bike gang made up entirely of belly dancing biker babes like myself, and lo and behold . . . so far i only know one other dancer in town with a bike, and now that the rainy season has begun we won't be riding together any time soon (*sigh*)

I've been riding since I got my licence in '01, have loved every minute of it. Could probobly use a bike with more power thanks to all these mountains, but I'm pretty attached to the one and only that I've got, we've been through a lot together and she's never let me down.

Dance-wise, I'm president of a little somethin' somethin' we call the Middle Eastern Dance Association, check out our web site at www.meda.bc.ca. We just brought Morocoo out last month for a workshop and show, that was good times.

Boz-man, I hear you're coming up to Vancouver Island in the spring, are you coming by plane or on 2 wheels??? Can you be seen in public riding along with someone on an '82 Kawi KZ440LTD if I promise to hot glue sequins to my fairings?? :-)

Would love to connect with any and all other BDBBs out there -- drop me a line!!

    Ahlan wa Sahlan!

Vancouver must be incredible to ride! Well, spring and summer, eh? (ducking!)

I'm spoiled - some of our favorite rides are xmas day and new year's day.
Very few cars on the road!

I'm not riding up to Vancouver - flying in. Performing/Vending in Oregon the weekend before -- and then heading out of town again the following. (I have very few weekends unbooked for 2007....sssshhhhhh)

And I usually ride next to a 2002 Kawi Nomad. The bike in my pic? That's a Yamaha - 2003 Midnight Star - no tow truck necessary. Also a bit bigger than the brand Yammi was emulating when they designed that one.

    I'm a dancer - not a lawyer. I can't *afford* that other brand. ;)

LOL ow, that hurts . . . well the riding is ok from about March to October, then we go from biblical flooding to just downpours and really, what's sexier than being on a bike in full rain gear?? (OK, maybe that's an aquired taste. . . .)

Sweet Yammi! I have to find a better pic of me and Lola to post . I'd be happy to move up to a Suzuki S50 Boulevard --- i ain't a lawyer either, i work in theatre, so really it's surprising that I'm on something flashier than a scooter. I did meet a guy a few years back who sunk $45k+ into one of the HD anniversary bikes, but he was a thirtysomething bachelor who I suspect is still single --- not a lot of personality, just a lot of cash for chrome, too bad for him.

But i do like the classic cruiser look.

Anyway, looking forward to having you up here!!! I assume the girls will be putting on a gala show for you to dance in --- i will have to start begging now to see if they'll let me dance too, or at least emcee (so very many hiddden talents of mine .. . . )
