I live in the land of the motorcycle clubs b/c we have about 350 days a year of riding!! AND I finally got a bike, AND there are a lot of riding bellydance girls out here, so Jim, may I have your permission to make Belly Dance Biker Babes an official club? :) Got the connections, got the amount of people needed....then all we need to do is create chapters wherever you gals (and Jim) live and voila!
So, can I? Can I? Huh? Huh?

Re: That's it. Can we go official?
Wed, June 4, 2008 - 11:54 AMI'm gonna sue! LOL
Wait, what do we need to be 'official'?
Umm...a website, a discussion, a list of Do's/Don'ts, etc?
Only thing that scares me are the legalities involved - if it's a club, someone might sue us...LOL...no, I mean for reals.
Club constitution, by-laws, etc.
I'll check with the clubs I used to ride with.
I still want to do a run/hafla. -

Re: That's it. Can we go official?
Sat, June 28, 2008 - 1:42 PMI can put it under my name as charter group so it's not your name if it goes to court for some reason, PLUS the fact that Utah is super easy to start a club in--then you just do satellite groups per location, but the charter application is easy to get here--I have to get permission of the other biker clubs (Black Sheep Bikers For Christ, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Sundowners (they're actually a gang), Harley Owner's Group, etc.) and I have spoken to each one already and gotten their nod of approval!!! In fact, they were super stoked.
